Gallery / Later Work

My newer work dates from about 2015 to the present. It is very much a reflection of where I am now, and my response to the world around me. I feel obligated to make work that is relevant as more than a pretty, calming thing to have around. I am drawn to various contemporary artists (Rothenberg, Guston, Henry Taylor) whose work somehow resonates with the modern world, but not in a literal, narrative sense. I’m more interested in abstract elements and visual distortion, and exploring surface variants.
