Gallery / Earlier Work

My earlier work dates from about 2008-2014, and is a reflection of where I was at during that time period. I was mostly motivated to just paint without a need to dig deeper for a theme or message. I love the state of California and was drawn to various artists working in California between 1910 and 1940, particularly in their use of light and color and depictions of an earlier time.
